Talk:Workshop Topics
From DevchixWiki
'These are described in the "features" directory that was created using the template.' It'd be clearer to link to the gist on 'template.' A lot of us were thinking 'HTML template' rather than the gist.

Topics which seem to be missing in the curriculum:
- install gem & push gem on Heroku?
- Use of GitBash vs. Windows console for Windows users, especially for ssh keygen
- Use of Windows command-line: equivalents to "ls", "touch", etc.
- script/generate cucumber has been overwriting files if people respond 'y'--MUST specify 'no' as response
- difference between 'gem ...' and 'sudo gem ...'
- How to get rid of scaffolding and start over
One instructor created a gist to replace the one in the curriculum. The Gitorious features were problematic somehow: gist.github.com/194430
